Olen Cabin is our 30m2 fully equipped guest house., located in the 'back paddock' overlooking the lagoons, pasture and gum trees that line the property.

If you are after a quiet stay in a bushland retreat you have found your place. Our one bedroom, one bathroom guest house has a welcoming and light vibe, with fresh decor, chosen for comfort.

​

The bedroom and living area is bathed in natural light that changes throughout the day. The louvered windows provides a eucalyptus scented cross breeze, if you feel the heat just turn on the air con to cool you down in our warm summer months.

​

The bed linens were chosen specifically, made from luxe natural fibres. Expect cool nights and warm days in Spring and Autumn. If you want to turn up the snuggle factor, wrap yourself up in the blankets and throws provided.

The modern bathroom is a little sanctuary of self care, where you can warm up in winter while washing the soil from the farm off you at the end of the day.

​

The kitchen makes cooking a surreal experience, the view over the property from the large window can be a little hypnotising. Stock your fridge with your favourites to enjoy during your stay. We provide all you need to cook your own meals plus the "necessities"; an assortment of teas, coffee and milk. We do offer the option of providing you with the ingredients for a self cook full breakfast, if this appeals to you, just let us know or book the bundle that includes it. Our eggs are so fresh you will hear the chickens laying them.

So what is there to do during your stay? Not much and that's what we encourage 100%. Its a chill place that is deeply restorative. Some of our guests favourite things to do include reading with a cuppa inside on "ol' purple" (the most comfy reading chair), enjoying a local wine or Farmers Wife Gin on the deck, re-connecting through conversation over board games, seeing animals in any passing clouds or sitting around the firepit at night, listening to all the strange wildlife noises :)  

 

If you are feeling slightly active, go for a meander around the lagoons, you can try fishing (although we never catch anything it's just relaxing), walk through the bush trails, do some yoga or have a go at the paddleboard on the dam.

​

Local visitors include kookaburras, cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, currawongs, and a range of water birds. At dawn and dusk it's common to see wallabys bouncing around and in spring, the little joeys trying to master the art of the jump. There is so much wildlife, the longer you sit still, the more you see and hear. Take the time to site and watch nature do its thing.
